Deliver and unload using one equipped vehicle

Some receiving sites can accept commercial goods but don't have a forklift available when the vehicle arrives. We provide forklift delivery vehicles from Cannock with rear-mounted forks for suitable loads. We carry the equipment with the allocated vehicle, then use it at the destination to complete the planned unload. This combines transport and handling within one coordinated job. Before confirming the service, we check that the goods, pallets and delivery site are suitable for the equipment.

Safe unloading starts with accurate site details

We need the load format, pallet measurements, total weight and intended unloading position. Please describe the surface and the space around the vehicle, including any slopes, soft ground, tight corners or overhead limits. Rear-mounted equipment needs firm operating conditions and safe clearance. We review these details before dispatch, then agree where the goods should be placed. If the site or load isn't suitable, we'll explain why and discuss another practical transport arrangement.

Frequently asked questions

Does the receiving site need its own forklift?

No, not for a suitable self-offloading job. We bring rear-mounted forks with the allocated vehicle. We still need to confirm that the goods, pallets, surface and working space are appropriate.

Can the equipment operate on any surface?

No. We need firm, suitable ground and enough room to work safely. Tell us about gravel, slopes, soft areas, kerbs, overhead restrictions or narrow access before we confirm the delivery.

Which load measurements should I provide?

Give us the dimensions and weight of each pallet or item, the quantity, packaging and total load weight. We also need the unloading position and details of available manoeuvring space.
