Larger loads with suitable site planning
Articulated capacity
We allocate larger vehicle capacity for suitable multi-pallet freight.
Self-offloading option
We can carry rear-mounted forks for suitable goods and delivery sites.
Access reviewed early
We check turning space, loading method and ground conditions in advance.
Capacity for larger commercial consignments
Multiple pallets and larger commercial loads may need the capacity of an articulated vehicle. We arrange articulated lorry transport from Cannock after checking the freight and both sites. Dimensions, total weight and load format help us decide whether the vehicle is suitable. We also need to understand how loading will take place and whether the destination can receive an articulated vehicle safely. For suitable goods, our self-offloading articulated option can support deliveries where unloading equipment isn't otherwise available.

Site planning before the vehicle arrives
Articulated access needs more space than a van delivery, so precise site information matters. Tell us about entrance width, turning room, ground conditions and any restrictions around the loading bay or unloading point. We agree collection and delivery slots with you, giving both sites time to prepare for the larger vehicle. Where rear-mounted forks are required, we also assess the pallet condition, operating area and surface before confirming the offloading plan.
Frequently asked questions
When is an articulated vehicle the right choice?
We may recommend one for larger consignments, multiple pallets or loads requiring greater capacity. We confirm suitability using the dimensions, total weight, handling needs and access at both sites.
What access does an articulated vehicle require?
We need safe entry, suitable turning and manoeuvring space, firm ground and enough clearance. Please tell us about narrow gates, parked vehicles, height limits and restricted delivery times.
Can an articulated vehicle unload its own cargo?
We have a self-offloading articulated option with rear-mounted forks. We must assess the goods, pallets, ground and working area first, as not every load or receiving site is suitable.
